Although Times New Roman is the default font, I also think that many people choose Comic Sans for important notices. Imo things like that must be presented with a more serious and professional looking one but readable.

A font that's quickly taking the place of Comic Sans is Bank Gothic.

For me I guess Palatino Linotype. But it is plain looking than Times New Roman

Edit: I thought you guys were talking about serious fonts, but instead a font similar and better than Comic Sans. Maybe Verdana is cute imo.

i'm not sure but i think david woods meant bank gothic is overused lol or maybe you're joking

Gotham is was a cool font a few years ago in the obama campaign but overused now - still far preferable to impact, although there are probably better choices






With fonts you can edit the vertices, especially with simple fonts like helvetica, arial, etc.

i use sans normally, for everything but sigs, i never liked comic sans
for some reason i Impact doesn't work like it used to but anther font works just like it (cracked text)

I mean Bank Gothic is overused, It's originally from Modern Warfare but I've seen it in commercials, on restaurant menus (Steak n' Shake), in movies (Despicable Me opening credits), on like 8 different businesses, and so on. It's nuts!

But bank gothic was abused after modern warefare (is it for both or only MW2? i dont remember )
