I have a tutorial on making a userbar here, and you can view this tutorial on advanced animations on the official gimp's tutorial list, btw you must have GAP (Gimp Animation Package) if you're going to be doing that tutorial, or advanced animations at all.

hope he helps me .. i tried to created like mike what said but i cant only 1 frame shows up in extracting an images i make the frames to 999999

I don't use gap that much, or really at all, sense I got my computer back I haven't even installed it, as I don't do a whole lot of animating, but it is a really great package. I mainly do my animating just manually by moving layers, or tweaking what's in a layer for the final result.

You could do what part 2 does, or i think fencepost made a script just for me ( ) and also is other tut would make the same effect if you know how to!
