Can't open pdf anymore

Usually it worked all pretty well but today I start receiving this error message when I try to open a pdf with GIMP


Opening 'C:\Entwürfe\Variante 1c EG 1_100_101.pdf' failed:

Could not open 'C:\Entwürfe\Variante 1c EG 1_100_101.pdf' for reading: No such file or directory

What is happening here?

Did you try to open it with a double click or did you try opening it with the "Open Recent" function?

and via Drag and Drop

Ok I found the problem

I must not use ä ö or ü in any names.

I managed to open 2 pdf files in Gimp 2.6.11 but when edited and saved, there's no pdf file extension for it.

Have you tried to open other pdf files and what version of Gimp you're using? (to see the version go to Help ->About)

Ok I found the problem

I must not use ä ö or ü in any names.

he figured it out! i dont think i can use æ, ø or å
