Hiya! I've just joined something like ten minutes ago, and from what I've seen so far I think it might be safe to say, ME LIKES.
I've been using GIMP for something like 5 years, so I figure it's about time I joined a site about it so I can point and laugh at the newbie GIMPers I could learn new GIMP methods and replace my weird, self-taught ones that never seem to get me anywhere. Not to mention getting some help about GIMP hating my tablet. 'Til now, I've mostly used it to color my sloppy art (Pikachu's that look like they've been run over, dragons that look like muffins if you hold the paper upside down, and cloudy skies that look like someone glued pillows to a blue wall).
I feel must admit to being a bit of an oddball, but I hope you all will learn to forgive me and my terrible jokes in time. I MEAN NO HARM, I SWEAR.

I haven't got much to show, though, since I haven't been able to color/ink/pixel any of my newer drawings due to tablet troubles. When it comes to signatures, I only ever to simple photo manips, so they're nothing big, either.

hey neon. nice to meet you. most of us around here do signatures and tags that consist of effects and renders, but you do drawings which i am sure will bring a new style to the forum as there are not many that use gimp for drawing. I am sure you would be good with vector art.

Nice to meetcha all! Your warm welcome is much appreciated! Seems like there are a lotta people from a lotta different countries--which I like since that means there's always at least ONE person online.
I turn 16 on December 11, so something above a month from now. Feels like I'm already 30 at how long I've been waiting for my b-day to come along. CAN TIME GO ANY SLOWER FOR ME?
Anyhoo, with any luck I'll be able to stay active on this site, especially since I always like some constructive criticism on my drawings.

Cats.. xd.. CATS ! RAAAAAAWR ! They look so cute ! I hate everything which is looking cute ! xD no, just joking I dont like cats, because they kill a bird (for example), play with the bowel (I guess its the word, isnt it?) and after this they come back home and lick your face and you are thinking : MY CAT IS SO CUTE <3 I LOVE MY CAT <3 But your cat just played and ate the inner-thingy (Bowel?) of the bird and so on xD this is nasty xD

LOL! I can see your point! That occurred to me as well, while I was watching my kitties eat a rat, but it never really bothered me. Even when they made little blood smudges on my shirt with their dirty paws. xD
I guess I have a higher tolerance level when it comes to the gross and icky.
