stretching one angle of a picture

Ooh, that looks better than the attempts I'd made... It gave me an idea too! A couple days ago, I did a project that involved extensive use of the curve bend tool, so I just checked to see if it could work for this situation. I think it turned out quite nicely... there was a little bit of 'empty space' that needed to be cloned in, but it was very minor. What do you think?

Oh, yeah, G'MIC. I have it installed, but it needs to be updated and I've never used it... is it really all that good?

And G'MIC is great for experimenting with hundreds of effects, but I personally don't like those.
What I like about G'MIC is only one thing: Anisotropic Smoothing, wich just pwns. It's basically removing all the noise in your image, giving it a great look.

(Filters > G'MIC > Enhancement > Anisotropic Smoothing)

I didn't delete it, I forgot to save it.

All I did was take the two halves and rotate them until the covered the white parts (place a vertical guide at 50% for perfection), then erase/smudge/blend until it looks nice n purty. :3

Thanks. I found some pixel shifts, evidently from the curving. But they were only visible at very zoomed in, and easily fixable with the clone tool. Oh, and I didn't use a tutorial or anything for the curve bend, I just experimented...
