I hade this epic web design going... and i forgot to save between the header and making the header contents.... and then gimp crashed... fml.... GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha ...
I worked on the Gimp Mag pages for around 7 hours, and now they're all useless because I took the wrong size .. what about that?

well whatz your ram and cpu?
i got 2gb of ram and the rest is lame lenovo!
everything bigger then 1000x1000px makes gimp slow, if i dont do it slow, it crashes!

4GB RAM and Intel Core Duo at 2GHz

But since I'm running 32-bit I'm only using 3GB of RAM. Large images are no problem for me, slower in Windows though.
