Problem when opening GIMP

Postby mmc » Mon Aug 17, 2009 1:49 am

Hi,

I had to re-load GIMP, which was working the first time, but now when I open it the layer section is coming up funny.

The layer section comes up as a very large screen and the only thing I can read on this screen is FI.

Tried to download it a couple of times and it produces the same problem everytime.

I have a mac osx for leopard 10.5.8.

Thanks.

Exactly the same problem here, It seems like the menu (File, Edit, etc) has HUGE letters. The same happens with the other windows that open with GIMP. I upgraded X11 to the latest version I found (XQwartz 2.4.0) but nothing new happened.

I use an Intel Mac, with OS X 10.5.8

see comment by lisanet: a fixed version "Gimp-2.6.7-p1-Leopard-universal" is available for download.

Thanks linsanet.

I was able to reset the size but my screen is still larger than life. How do I go about resizing it?

I was able to resize my screen. In fact it was the Image editor screen that was coming up larger than life but now I don't see the layer box or paint box on the right hand of the screen.
