The second images water looks fake but the last and second to last are amazing!

Eh just use script-fu console for find the gimp fuction do the work like the tut and write the right function do follow the right step of the tut. :D

Wow, I have been searching this technique for a long time already. I found tone mapping and the like scripts for gimp but haven't had luck on getting them to work. Yay. Prolly this could help me. Thanks so much. ^_^

I have been trying to work with is artificial Gimp HDR but not really happy with the results. Here is my editorial on FREEWARE HDR that might be of interest,,

You might find it of interest and save you money as well. Keep the site in your bookmarks for other items as well

i am using gimp 2.6 and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to install the scripts/plug-ins, whatever for the burn dodge. i did not think i was that computer illiterate, but i guess i am. i see the dodge burn tool, but i dont see how to use it in the way the tut says. thanks for any help, GTG
