Eh just use script-fu console for find the gimp fuction do the work like the tut and write the right function do follow the right step of the tut.

Wow, I have been searching this technique for a long time already. I found tone mapping and the like scripts for gimp but haven't had luck on getting them to work. Yay. Prolly this could help me. Thanks so much. ^_^

i am using gimp 2.6 and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to install the scripts/plug-ins, whatever for the burn dodge. i did not think i was that computer illiterate, but i guess i am. i see the dodge burn tool, but i dont see how to use it in the way the tut says. thanks for any help, GTG
