*kneels for starlight* Im glad the tutorial is there, this is a real cool image. Certainly as a background. It gives a ''warmer'' feeling than the eclipse effect, thats more darkness. *kneels*
Mmm, ive tried it in photoshop... got stuck at some points... So i would be glad if you made one for PSD too but take your time, dont wanna push anyone
It didn't work out perfectly but I'm still pretty happy with it. Something didn't go quite with the brush print things, I'm not quite sure right. I opted to go with the hubble deep field for my stars just for fun. I didn't like how it looked with the galaxies in front of the moon so I took them out. Overall I'm pretty happy though. I'm just looking to learn. Any critiques would be more than welcome. Great tutorial!
i hope you learn something from that tutorial...btw the main ideas is i want to show how u can apply layer mask and how to create brush.
for the star, you can try to make star from the scratch if u don't want to use the photo..btw f you don't like the looked with the galaxies in front of the moon maybe u can apply layer mask to hide it..
Yeah I used the layer mask to hide the stars in front of the moon. I was getting kind of frustrated with the gradient so I just drew a path around the moon and filled in that selection of the mask. If I get a chance I'll mess around with it a little more. Definitely learned a lot though. Thanks again.
