yeah definitely just one or two people (maybe a one or two more?) people should know the password.

And credit is important as well, you can use Annotations to give credit to the person, and in the description link to Gimper.net.

I like the idea, not sure how active it will be, I'd have to see how it operates before i start posting my vids there instead of on my own profile on youtube

No just one. And that should be Gimper because he owns the forum. The description of the video would have credit and the original authors YouTube submission (because in order for it to be submitted, it has to be uploaded to YouTube by the original author on their own account so Gimper can watch it).

Good idea bones.
I think that whoever makes the videos doesn't have to be on a tut staff, cause I doubt we will have a tut staff. I really don't think we have that much to manage. Huge forums that have lots to manage usually have staff divisions. Anyway, I think that, at least for now, people should make the video tutorials on their own time. For example, if you feel like making a tutorial but lack inspiration, convert a text tutorial to a video, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo or whatever, and send it to Gimper to be added to a tutorial page on Gimp-Tutorials.net.

If that would be successful enough, I think a huge YouTube account would be good.

That's my humble opinion.
