GimPad was formerly known as GimPhoto Desktop, this new version was rewritten from scratch and made for better integration into GIMP/GimPhoto's scattered windows.
the older version had some major bugs and memory leaks which has been fixed in this new rewritten release.list of changes:

1: Download GimPad from Gimphoto
2: Install gimpad-1.1_setup.exe to C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\
2: make a copy of the original gimp-2.4.exe and rename it gimphoto.exe
3:that's it! click on gimpad icon that's placed on your desktop and and you should have a one windowed GIMP
