Hey guys just joined here, thought the community here looked pretty good so I decided to join. Got redirected here through a youtube link for changing my gimp theme (thanks Gimper).

Thanks man, I thought about it right after I posted this that I should have thrown a little more info in.
Well i'm 18 years old, still in high school hopefully graduating in a few months here. I live in the US. I enjoy video games, paintball, cars, and doing some GFX on the side.
I have been doing GFX for about a year or 2 on and off, but I never really got into some of the more "advanced" techniques. Maybe I can get into doing some of those after reading up on them.

Basicly:
Read some tutorials.
Post your creations from that tutorial.
We will then comment on how to improove and then you should ask: "Do you got an example or tutorial to do that".
Also, i belive its in tutorials and signatures, there is a thread called tutorial heaven.
Alot of good stuff there.

I'm Arzo, the only active German guy left on this forum. I'm 18 years old and currently studying Mathematics at a University over here. I like doing all kind of sports, playing the guitar and when it comes to Gimp I'm especially a photo-manipulation guy.
Do you mind showing us some of your latest projects?
