Feeling safe with my stuffed animal :3

When I started working on this. It was actually supposed to have one side completely different from the other. I wanted one side to be really kinds smoothly smudged with a hard round brush and the other with a chalk brush. Plans changed but I guess you can still see a little bit of a difference.


Okay so anyways. I really really rushed this one. Its got many flaws. I managed to fix the more noticable ones. Tried to cover up most. But well, cnc?

love the bg, lighting is odd, rule of thirds...well w/e . i like how subtle the text is. It seems there has been a trend recently to make text big, which i do not like. I think you could make the black border a bit thinner on the sides, though i understand why you did it. ;) b/w version maybe... :question:

Well actually it was a cloud stock didn't really require too much smudging.... I have a psd saved if you want it. But I doubt you would considering this is a gimp forum :P

I like it.. agreed the lighting is in the wrong place and the render isn't quite blended in enough (hair, hat)

thumbs up for the text, could be a little sharper maybe. great smudging :)

Nice text. Colors are good. Excellent looking smudging.

Really the only problem I can see with this is the lighting. Nice sig.

Pretty cool. Quality is nice. Just work on your lighting transition because it looks a little over-contrasted. Your smudging could also use a little more detail/definition. If you want help with smooth smudging, try looking at pochy's stuff/tuts on dA or pR.
