What are some good fonts to use with gimp/photoshop nowadays - reluctantly I've gone back to photoshop temporarily.
(target:web design/general assorted design)?
I lost my large collection ages ago, so I need to rebuild with the latest trends.
A few that I remember using years ago:
-Avenir (my favorite, i think)
-Helvetica Neue (or something like that)
-Arial Rounded (for a generic rounded font)
-Frutiger
-Gotham
-Akzidenz Grotesk (or something like that) - cool old typeface which was originally created in the 1800's
-Futura
-Bank Gothic (only for using sparingly - way overused)

My favorite is "Sawasdee", an ubuntu native ... it's slim and elegant but yet usable for nearly everything.
