I would like to recreate this ad in a project for school.

How do you create the wave shapes here?

Could you upload it to a site like imageshack.us? we're having some internal issues and attachments aren't working.

here is an explanation on how to use the Path tool the only thing you need to do is make the desired shape and press Selection From Path. Now you can fill the selection with any color you want.

When you have your paths tool, and you have made your path... press Enter... Instant selection!

That or create some brushes with that shape.

OR you make a rectangle selection, fill it with blue, lower the opacity and then you use the perspective tool to make it a triangle-like form and then Filters > Distort > Curve bend. Now you make a nice wavy shape and you're done.

This is a pretty simple effect and therefor you have a lot of opitons and ways to do this :P
