I know I missed a few those were tutorials that didn't really focus on core concepts in my opinion.

In the first the blue is way too vibrant, I would use a lighter blue with less saturation.

i agree with david, you might as well use a different colour like purple. also make the bg black as the sparks stand out more

I sent it to my friend via email who has a vista pc without the Gimpentosh written on it. Went to house. Laughed as he clicked about 30 time before he realized it wasn't real.
