Gimp, eps and PSFrag (LaTeX)

Hi everyone,

I am writing an article using LaTeX. The package PSFrag is a package that extract character string from an .eps file and remplace them by some LaTeX code.
Unfortunatly, if I export an .eps file containing some character from Gimp, we can not see the text string in the .eps file.
So PSFrag is no longer able to extract the string.

Do you know if it is possible to "force" gimp to export .eps file with some readable characters ?
