Gimp Hair Help

Hello Everyone! I am a New GIMP user! I want to add more bangs and hair on top of my head on this photo:

The desired hairstyle is this (similar bangs, and more spiky on top):


Can anyone teach me how to do this? Thanks!

maybe take a piece of your hair (the top of it not bangs) and cut it, and shape it to make it look similar to the other bangs. maybe some gaussian blur. anything to make it blend. if you like, i can try to edit it and make it look a tad bit better. but i wont until i have your permission just pm or something
