I try using the Resize and Crop tool. But I don't know how to do. And the GIMP help manual doesn't say anything to help either...

After selecting the image/layer you want to resize, Grab the end of the image and darg it down. It will have better quality after resizing, then if you don't like it, hit CTRL+Z.

its using an old version of gimp not sure if its 2.2 though
