Look at the attached screenshot. All I want is what's INSIDE the ellipse, what's INSIDE the OVAL
shaped part. But when I paste I keep getting that whole rectangle. Please don't tell me I need to layer-mask, and erase, or layer-to-alpha-something-or-other and etc.. I've already tried a few of these and all I got was confused, not results. In this case I believe there must be some other process - Please tell me what to do, how it works.
As ONE (1) example: I created a blank template (transp. backgrnd) and pasted this selection into it. My pasted-in selection wound up appearing as what appears below as that entire rectangular region surrounding the elliptical area I desired. What the fu_?
I'm kinda p.o'd as you can tell.
