Hello, Gimpers
I've used Gimp on my PC and loved it. Just installed latest version for Mac OS X (Snow Leopard) on my MacBook Pro. Gimp opens OK, but when I try to drop a JPEG into Gimp window to open, it bounces back without opening.
Can anybody help me use Gimp on my Mac? It is obviously working for all of you, or this forum would not exist.

I just experimented with dropping the image files onto the GiMP icon in "Applications" folder, and it worked like a charm. Sorry to have posted a silly question.

There are no such things as stupid questions 
If drag and drop doesn't work, you can always go to "File > Open" in the Gimp window itself. But I guess you solved everything already?
