Strange Green Band When Lens Filter is Applied

Postby PrometheanStudio » Fri Aug 14, 2009 4:00 am

HI. I'm new here and a relative novice with GIMP. I was working on an image this evening and ran into an odd problem that I can't seem to figure out. I applied the "lens" filter to my image and a strange green band appeared over the bottom part of the image. It turned up no matter what settings I tweaked on the filter options. I did a google search and a search on this forum and can't find any information. The only thing I can figure is that it might have something to do with the fact that the image in question had been edited in Lightroom beforehand and then I used Lightroom's edit in external program feature to open the file in GIMP. Not sure why that would make GIMP go funny. Only that filter seemed to have issues. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? I am running GIMP 2.4.3 on OSX.4.9. Thanks.
