I use GIMP on a Mac.
I don't want to uninstall GIMP, but I have a permanent icon on my desktop entitled "GIMP 2.6.6 Leopard universal" and I want to get it off my desktop. Whenever I try to move it into a folder, it just adds a new icon into the folder with the same title but with the word "alias" after it. I just want to know how to get rid of the desktop image. If I try to move it into the trash, it gives me an eject option which I don't want to do.
Please help, this is driving me absolutely mad lol. I have uninstalled and reinstalled GIMP three times, each time deleting everything GIMP related from my comp. Any suggestions?
