i just got gimp and can't wait to get started, i've know what most of the tools do, but can't get them to work.
how do i actually use them? i select the tool, but nothing happens when i click on the photo? huh? pls help

Can you post a screenshot, especially of the tools settings?
Depending on your settings, these tools can have very subtle results
