I have my GIMP installed in an alternative location. Sorry, but this

tells me nothing. I didn't see where in the process of installation I could point the installer to my actual GIMP location.
Can someone provide a proper procedure?I'm on Windows 7 x64
Why I did so far:
1. Just after installation I got only two themes to choose from - the ones already available in GIMP preferences?
2. I copied the themes and executables from
- Code: Select all
c:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\share\themes\
c:\Program Files (x86)\Gimp Themes v1.0\
to
- Code: Select all
e:\GIMPx64\share\gimp\2.0\themes\
e:\GIMPx64\share\themes\
I copied executables from
- Code: Select all
c:\Program Files (x86)\Gimp Themes v1.0\
to
- Code: Select all
e:\GIMPx64\bin\
3. I copied
- Code: Select all
c:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\
to
- Code: Select all
e:\GIMPx64\
which should make every file go to the right place.
Effect:First of all a mess, I know. I got a list of themes but only fonts were changing. Same with choosing themes from within GIMP preferences.
4. Finally I copied
- Code: Select all
c:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\share\themes\
to
- Code: Select all
c:\Program Files (x86)\GTK2-Runtime\share\themes\
Effect: It seems that it started to work - the themes effectively change the looks of my GIMP but with some black holes or unthemed fields.
5. I started copying new themes from
http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2/?page=1to
- Code: Select all
c:\Program Files (x86)\GTK2-Runtime\share\themes\
Effect: It worked again!
6. Current situation: It stopped working for some reason and I'm stuck on some semi-native windows theme. I would really like to uninstall my GIMP and GTK and start all over as per a proper procedure I requested.
