5 year old pics

I took my 5 year old, Clayton out for his pictures.







I need to edit them, but just wanted to toss a few up. I have over 100 I took today. I'm just trying to weed out the ones I like.

These are 2 of my faves. I like them in BW, but I'm working on other things with them right now!
suggestions? Ideas?

I'm a huge fan of B&W photos, but the effect really doesn't fit into these in my opinion.. It gives the image a kind of sad look.
If you want to add black and white, why dont you make everything b&w but him? The red shirt would definately give a great contrast to the colorless background.

I was gonna say the same thing, desaturate the background. Also instead of b&w try it with a brown tint, like an old photo.

I also love black and white photos.
GMIC has some very nice filters for those.

I hope you do not mind my using one of your images.They are all very nice by the way.
Here is the image of the water shot ran through GMIC>Artistic>Old_Photo.


Here is the same photo with a duplicate on top set at color>invert and _grain-merge mode.
I set the opacity low also. This brings out better saturation in any photo.




Might i also suggest a focus blur? I fear i have done great in justice to your photos with this one. My apologies in advance.
