Oooo! I really like the effects on the shoulder. I think it looks fine the way it is, just looks lacking in depth, however, it works! Kudos! :)

Some say the line between the victim and the assailant is very, very, thin
Maybe the only way to not be the victim, is to become the assailant

2 things come to my head I guess,

- The overall image is too blue in my eyes. Yes, you should have a set color tone, but it almost looks like you went Colors > Colorize and then added some purple shades.

- There's some perspective-stuff going on at Samus' right shoulder. Are the "balls" (the flying things) in front of the white clouds or behind them? The white splatters are in the front, but vanish behind the shoulder as well. This might be just my head messing things up though ;D

- The background is pretty dull, especially the left side. I'd suppose you can add anything there and make it look better: your name, a fade-out, slight scanlines, cut the side off completely, I dont know :P To me, it looks too empty there. Of course you shouldn't distract from the render, but you shouldn't leave it just empty.

Uh.... I guess that's about it with the negative things I can name :P

Thanks Ar!

Personally I'm happy with the colors, but I appreciate your input!
You seem to be right about the perspective issues, it does look a bit weird.
I was trying to go for more subtle 'effects'. The building, and 3 airships were all added by me.

Thanks!

Hey Shark,
I think the render doesn' t really connect with the bg if you know what I mean. I say it needs something..."more"(?) in that area.
I also don' t really like the effects coming out of his gun.
Other than that I think it' s pretty smoking!

I agree with Roma about the render not being connected to the BG, it just doesn't fit, ya know?
I dig the colors as they are, but the bursts of light around the shoulders could use some nice color, maybe some ghostly red and green, like a distant rainbow, idk if you get what I'm saying.

Looks like you hit it (the render at least) with the GMIC Soft Glow filter, and I really like how it looks.
Some nice text off to the left would be brilliant, with some sort of eye catching effects, like a floral pattern, to really put it in the foreground.

That's my two cents and my courtesy for your comment on my thread ^_^
I'm very similar to everyone else!
