Ok then lets start.
Step one:
First go to http://www.Dafont.com there you can find your font you want in your signiture I did abit of a map of the site.

Step two:
download your text by clicking download if it don't say free for personal use don't. I'm going to download the text in my signiture. "Jellyka Estrya's Handwriting."
Now if you have firefox do what the following image says (Double click.)

Step three:
Go into your control pannel and double click font, a big screen should come up.

Step four:
This part is probaly the hardest bit so listen up, ok now you need to get your text into the list of fonts. Ok there is two way, the easy one is to copy the font file in my case the Jellyka estrya handwriting, and simply paste it into the file then your done but wait, search for it first. If you can't find do this. Go to the font file Jellyka estrya handwriting for me. Highlight it and click move this file, highlight to get this option. Now, I reccomend you move it to local disk (:c) now then, go onto the fonts page with the list of fonts click on file, then go to install new font. Now click drive (c:) Double click windows option in the list of programs, It should find your text then select it and click download font.
Step six: Reload gimp and then when you get into gimp click the A icon and then type in eg "J" it should come up with my text if I installed one called xion it I would type in x then It would find me xion. Good you can now use text in gimp.
