Hi.
My name is Amber, and I used to be pretty good at using GIMP. I stopped when we lost our high speed internet and got dial-up. I would really like to start doing it again. I am looking for someone who would take me under their wing and teach me how to use it again. I need someone who is willing to wait a little while for me to turn in assignments though. If you are interested please let me know.

Hey Amber. Let me be the first to welcome you to Gimper. As for that I myself am still a Choob at gimp. But there are many many many tutorials to help you learn the ropes. Youtube is a wonderful source as well with the tutorials around here. As for some one taking you under their wing. I am not sure many people have the time for that. But if you take it slow and do a few tutorials I am sure you will pick up on it with no issues. Post your work here and people will comment on it telling you what could be done or not. Just remember in the end its your art and if your happy with it then thats all that counts.

Yeah, check out the tutorial section here. And this community gives great comments and critique if you wish to post your work in the designated sections.
