There aren't that many Mac users.
My gf and some of my friends uses macs and for that reason im not gonna learn how they work... cause then i don't have to fix their problems

But i have a question!
Do you already got gimp installed?
I haven't looked into it so i don't know the options, but what place did you download it from ?

I don't have gimp installed on my mac yet, however, I've known about and used gimp on my old windows pc ever since my son introduced me to it several years ago. (maybe around 2006 or so...)

I remember being pleasantly surprised with gimp back then. (I just got this mac and am wading in.)

I've read some posts on here today that mention getting the mac download from various servers like lisanet, and I will probably download it after a little further reading.

I'm still in the middle of reading the forum's suggested links so that I can get back up to speed with the program.

So i wouldnt think anyone else would either...

Just downloaded Gimp 2.6.12 to Mac Os X (Lion). Here's the link from which I d/l:

Even though the link name doesn't mention Lion, I noticed that the executable file (in Mac, it's .dmg) has the following name: GIMP-2.6.12-Snow Leopard-Lion.dmg.

Everything looks good so far. I'm at the very beginning of what I see is going to be a long learning curve for me.
