Alright. I know you've heard of these, and they're a great start. Twitter and Facebook. If you don't have a Twitter, then you have a Facebook. If you don't have a Facebook, then you have a Twitter. Everybody has at least one of these social networking platforms, and there's a million more. But let's start with the basics.
Let's get Gimper.net on Twitter. Make it an account to spread the word, give tips to aspiring artists, etc. So many people use this site it's not even funny (it may not seem like it but they do). Check out my Twitter page. I have 1553 followers. ME alone. Imagine what a forum can get.

Let's get Gimper.net a Facebook fan page. Get as many people as we can to like the page and get them on here. There's power in numbers and if we can get these numbers up then hey, maybe people will be more proactive and participate, invite others, etc. It kind of will also prevent people from becoming inactive for long periods of time and then come back every once in a while to say what's up (like I did). INVITE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS!! DO IT!! I know you're on Facebook at least.

Theme
Now let's make Gimper look better. It's had this same purplish theme for a long time now. The logo has been around for a while as well. I say we do another logo design contest. What do yall think? I'll set up a thread if that's something yall want to do.
The best thing we can do is spread the word!! Word of mouth is priceless. This forum is never gonna get better if we don't. Do your part. And if you have any other ideas, PLEASE post them here. Make sure you put something like "Idea" at the beginning of your post so it's easier to spot. DO IT!!
