This is a really good idea. VIP could be people that post alot or people that help alot in the forums etc

I don't really see the point in this. And if we add it it would be around 10,000 posts

well, i guess something near that number would be pretty funny, and it would definitely make you a VIP
if i had to do this, it would be based on overall contribution to the forum
of course that would be hard to do w/ out someone "getting their feelings hurt" but i think they would have to, as we say, suck it up and move on
