just had some fun on gimp and this is the result
Looks blurry, you should use a imagehost, try postimage.org , 3mb.us , imgcentre.com , Sharpen your focal and a few of the effects, text is too big and takes attention away from your focal. Make it smaller, work on lighting, depth, text, flow is good, but needs a bit more, Keep It Up
 Also save your sigs as png, that way they do not lose quality, jpg pixelates and lowers quality
Before i Use to do it, but then someone told me the same thing, and I did and quality is kept.
Blurry, I can't tell what the focal is, as was mentioned, save as a png, I don't think you had the jpg quality set high enough.
dont even save in jpg lol.
for a second i thought that was for zeratul or something, but i havent seen zeratul in a long time, and i remembered something about zeratul being a character, right?
zeratul is a character in starcraft
yeah its from SC
Didnt even know about the jpg thing, thx for letting me know ;D
Is there somekind of a beginners tut for newbies where they can learn the basics of design?¨
Cause I dont really know what you are meaning with focals, flow and so on
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4654 see here, take this one for example, the focal is the render - thats what the whole sig is about. the focal should be what catches the eye first, as the sig is all about it! the flow is the direction everything is going, so here everything is flowing to the left and slightly up.
as for a beginner tut for basics of design... well you kinda have to learn it as you go, would be easier if we had a more active forum here.
Spartan just posted a great beginner tutorial, in the tutorials section.
ok ill check it out
only if you are farmiliar with gradient maps!
What's so hard about gradient maps? You duplicate the final image, select the gradient you like, and run it, then you fool around with the blend modes and opacity.
back on topic!
