    Very nice job, it's technically "cheating" but the result looked pretty good. ;)

    Yeah I know it's cheating :D But hey, the highpass method doesn't work, and rendering the usual way doesn't work as well. So what else could a Gimper do but to cheat? ;D

    It's for ubuntu only as far as I know... you can install it in 5 seconds, because .. well, ubuntu pwns :D

    You know ubuntu is linux, right? =D There won't be a GTKrecordmydesktop for windows =D
    Maybe your linux-user, I don't know =D Just wanted to mention that :D

    I heard that Camstudio is good for windows user, if you are windows user.

    No, it isnt for ubuntu only =D I guess its for every linux-distribution =D

    I use FastStone Capture's video recorder.
    I am thinking of switching to Cam Studio though.
