@History: I don't think many (if any) people are interested GIMP history, so I think it's a bit wasted, but let the others discuss about this aswell.

@PMs artwork: We've got an artwork section for everyone's artworks, so ofcourse his ones can be in aswell ;)

@Oregonian: Sure, why not? If he is willing to register to this forum and do some stuff, that's a great thing :)

    Other things:
-The front page is Scrapie's thing, not Banekai's. So he will need the logo to put it on top.
-Index page (/table of contents and so on) .. well, both Scrapie and Rod want to do this, so one of you won't be able to...
-Scripts and Filters are still available then ... I'll add that to the list.

Just a random suggestion, we should be able to find semi-famous artists we can interview. ^.^

i say aye to all. It all sounds good to me.
And i would be interested in the history of GIMP. I find that only younger folk or immature people would not wish to learn a little bit about the awesome free program they are using.

But yeah, i'm just an editor and i will be making a smily bird tut later.
It's best not to entrust me to the color scheme

An interview page is a great idea.

Ok ill ask O and ill tell PM its a go for his artwork.
I need to get everything together and send it to you for editing Cyril. As soon as i upload it to Mediafire ill post the link in a PM to you.

Is scrapie still doing cover then? I need to know if they need the logo image.

Ok PhotoMaster is working on a G'MIC image for us. I told him probably mid November.
I could ask him to be our interview guy? =)

You don't have to upload the images to mediafire, just post them in the magazine section, it's invisible for other users than the Gimper Staff

:D We've got an own section in this forum only chosen members ("Gimper Staff") and admins/mods can see, and there a lot of pages (including tutorials/news/artworks etc) were already finished, but nobody finished the magazine in the end.

    Saad. :D

My pages are lost... or are the xcf still hovering in cyberspace?
    Probably... :p

    Last time we needed:
    - Someone to talk to somebody
    - A tut or two
    - An editor/spellchecker

    ...
    I think...

Ok, so I know i'm kinda new here and all, but if there's a desire to get this back up and running, i would gladly offer my services in editing and post production. I've done the small market magazines before and would gladly help out with this.

Guys, seriously, this is hopeless. Even if by the end of 2014 we have our first issue out, it'll take another 4-5 years to get the second out. :p I don't mean to be a killjoy, I really wish this worked out better, but it's the truth.
