    I think I might try to brighten it up a little bit?

    The colors do not have a "WOW!" effect yet, you could add one to make it look really really cool ;)

    Agreed, the background is dul and it needs a wow factor, but nice picture Amy. :)

    Very nice closeup, i would use curves on the flower to brighten it just a bit.
    A simple s curve will do see..

    You could probably make it even sharper...with unsharp mask.

    There are filters/scripts for an awesome looking color effect, just look it up before you try to do it manually, it might save a lot of time.

    just play, with it... maybe some GMs and stuff... And rod, your curve made the leaf in the bg blue-ish :p
