Hey guys, I just wanted to post of some of my sigs and maybe get some CnC so I can improve.

These sigs are some that I made while I was apart of a gaming community called Independent Gaming Community (IGC).

I like this one the best out of all that I have made.

These next ones are some that I have done in chronological order ( I have 20+ odd more sigs)

This one was done for someone on another forum

    Once again CnC is appreciated.

Since you called me awesome, i will try to comment on every single one of them.

What most beguinners do, is that they make really decent sigs, but they finish it to early.
Like this is a brilliant starting point.

    A1. Don't add text.
You shouldn't add text until you have fully mastered the other elements.
Alot of good sig makers hasn't mastered text fully, and therefore leaves it out.
You should do this, atleast in the start.
    A2. Only 1 focal.
In this case its two pices of text and one render.
It could aslo be the thing in the bottom left corner.
    A3. Focus/Depth
Try making the render be the point of focus.
Example: Take the blur/sharpen tool on low rate with the fuzzy brush and gently blur areas you wan't to take the focus away from.
Doing this can also create depth. Fake the feeling that some things are farther away than others.
Depth can be used to create focus.

    These doesn't got alot.
They got a cartoon render, so alot of the usuall elements does not need to apply.

Also, on the castle crushers, they are a little stretched/squished.
They are scaled more down/up then left/right.
Therefore looks squished. Try to avoid this at all cost!

    + Same as A1

    A1 + A2 +A3

This seem to need the text cause its got that slogan thing.
You should therefore try to find a good text effect that could fork with the theme.
Also the red doesn't go with the Render

    + A1 (+ A2) +A3

This is a sig where you can really see that two focals make it all... wierd :p
    It is also really empty!

    + A1 + A2 +A3

    ----------------------------

I hope i wasn't to harsh, but if you wanna improve, we gotta tell it like it is.
But you should try reading some tutorials for novices and advanced users.
Try to lay off the text for a while.
Maybe look for a depth and a lighting tutorial.

Even though lighting can be done with a radial white to black gradient put on overlay.

Thanks bro, I'll head over to the tut heaven thread and have a look around. It wasn't harsh at all. Everything helps, I would rather be told like it is, than be lied to and just keep doing the same thing.
