    Hi,

Hi - just got a Wacom Bamboo and quickly ran into a gimp feature (on Windows 7 but I imagine it's the same everywhere) that I'd like to disable: each device (mouse and pen in my case) has its own tool settings, etc. So if I've switched to a green pencil using the mouse, as soon as I pick up the pen I'm back to using a red airbrush when I'd rather continue with the green pencil.

Since I regularly switch between the mouse and pen I'd really rather they shared the same idea of the current tool, etc. as it's annoying to continually have to remember to, for example, change the colour each time I change device.

I understand it's a useful feature for some folk but does anyone know how to disable/work around it?
