I guess you didnt make this, since... i dont thing you are Alex Macmillan
But this is a brilliant idea!
I really like the filter idea and the tabs... thats everywhere...
Anyone feel like coding this ?
I was all like "OMG AWESOME", until I realized it wasn't a real GIMP version.
Then I was sad.
Start coding, VaiTo!
Yeah that would be pretty cool
I still have to say I like 2.7 better though Single window mode is awesome
I have mac... Anyone code 2.7 for mac? :
I really never would have guessed you had a Mac Wouldn't they be one in the Same?
Well Gimp is made for linux and windows. Fans of Gimp code it for mac.
Ask Rod! He might be able to help!
Googling never came to you as a good idea ?

You could probably tear apart one of the GTK themes and get close to this.
For one thing though you would not be able to move the menu items in the image window.
Colors and transparency could be changed though.
Not sure i wanna go at it though lol - it would be a lot of work.
If someone else want's to try it just open one of the theme folders in Gimp-2.0/share/themes
Copy the gtkrc file and place it in another folder called transparent gimp and work on it in Notepad ++.
I am sure you could google how the themes are styled. (editing code)
Or if you feel real jumpy you could just play with it and see what happens.
When your finished throw the entire folder back into the themes directory.
It will show in Gimps Edit/Pref/Themes
Thanks for the info Rod, there is no way I would be able to do that, but would it be possible to make it so your Theme would be transparency and you would be able to see your desktop or whatever is open behind GIMP through?
Haha, wow that looks really awesome.
I do not know - ill look into editing themes and see what can be possible.I think their already is a transparent theme that could be canabalized.
I think that would be really cool to have your Work in GIMP just floating over your desktop image
I reaaaaaaally want to make this but i dont have the time or the spirit...
I want dmg not source code...
WELL GOOGLE YOURSELF GOD DAMNIT
Actually i placed the link to the dmg in another thread.
