    Hello every body,

    Is there any thing similar to the (iPhone) Instagram effects for GIMP? Are there any plug-ins who can (re)create this effect?

    Thanks for any input!

    Wich effect are you particularly looking for?

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/7870" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/7870</a> <- Lomo effect

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/9592" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/9592</a> <- HDR kind-of effect

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/11776" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/11776</a> <- Another HDR

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/1348" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/1348</a> <- Vintage look

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/157" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/157</a> <- Many effects in one script

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/15994" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/15994</a> <- Comic Book effect

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/10977" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/10977</a> <- 'Torn-off' effect

    <a class="postlink" href="http://registry.gimp.org/node/5921" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://registry.gimp.org/node/5921</a> <- Quick sketch effect

    Only to list some ;)
    As you can see, there's plugins for nearly every effect. But the best results will be archieved if you do the effects manually (requires a bunch of knowledge and skill though).

    You click on the first PHP and it redirects you to a site where you can download the pack or the single filters ;)

    @Arzoroc

    Late thanks for your links and you are totally right when you say learning it to do myself is best.
    With time I learn to do that more and more...will look into the effects more carefully!
