Gimp animation and trancparency

    Okay, ran out of google search ideas so I ended up here :)

    I have drawn in Gimp a figure that is slightly different for each layer(I got almost 30 layers), so when I go to filters - animations - playback it makes a decently nice smooth animation. Now, everything surrounding the figure on each layer is transparent(that's because I'll be having a moving background, but I think I've figured that part out on my own).

    The problem is that when I go to playback, all the layers just pile on top of each other, instead of the previous layer disappearing when the next one comes.

    Wonder if I'm making any sense, lol :-[
