Hey guys, I think it'd be cool and handy if we could download/save the tutorials we like. Maybe when they're uploading, we can have a zip file attached holding an html page and all the pictures needed for the tutorial? I'm just thinking I'd like to have them saved to my computer incase the site is ever down (I know I can just go through and save it all myself but it'd be nice if we could just download it off the site).

hmm this isnt a bad idea. im not too sure that many people would use it though. i say no mainly because the forum/site needs space. this will slow it down because it is a "file". maybe hosted somewhere else, but that could cost money, and no free service has it (im pretty sure) good idea though

Yeah it would be cool if they hosted it elsewhere, like mediafire and just provided a link.

hm....i think it would be kinda hard. if every page was even 1 meg, it would take forever to upload all of them (especially free) also, how would that work. we would need something to get the HTML and go to mediafire, and upload it, then paste it back.

I use firefox fireshot to take full page screenshots of pages it works well. try it out.
In my case I guess I could provide PDF versions but host the files on mediafire because it would kill the server's bandwidth if I hosted it on ours.

Yeah it would... and it's already had it's fair share of problems in the past. Plus, turning them into a PDF is a hassle. When I'm done with a tutorial, I'm done with it. I don't want to spend any extra time making one. Although, it is something I've thought about doing in the past. I just haven't gotten around to it...
