In this tutorial your going to learn how to create this effect

It is fairly easy to do, but takes awhile if your doing a lot of layers,

    Lets get started

Step 1. Create a new document. Mines going to be 800x600.

Step 2. Take your text tool and type what you want. I downloaded the font I'm using awhile ago, but you can use whatever you want.

Step 3. Right click on the text layer and click alpha to selection. This will create a selection around the text.

Step 4. Take your fill tool and change your color to a bright color, I used a bright green to get a cool effect.

Step 5. Fill the selection with the color you chose.

Step 6. Duplicate the layer that is selected, and click your foreground color box that your bright color should be shown at. Look for the slider that is the G in RGB. You can play around with the different sliders, but this is the one I used.

Step 7. Decrease this slider (or increase if you started with a dark color) by 5 to 10 depending on how detailed you want the effect to be.

Step 8. The selection should still be selected, but if its not, go ahead and click the alpha to selection button again.

Step 9. Fill the selection with the new color, on the layer you just duplicated.

Step 10. Duplicate the layer that you just added the new color to, and repeat this process of decreasing the sliders by 5-10 until you reach the effect that you want.

Step 11. Saving your work. Go to file>save as. Name your work whatever you want, and add the .gif file type to the end. It will bring a box up that looks like this:

Make sure you click save as animation, and convert to indexed. This will save it as an animation. On the next options box, Change the time to 75 milliseconds. You can play around with the time if you would like.

After you save it, your done!
