    So, how were your Christmases?
Give anything awesome? Unfortunately I didn't think up anything spectacular to give :/ we gave our mom a really nice Holy Water fountain though, with St. Michael... that's probably my favorite given gift.

As far as receiving, my parents got me a MacBook Pro  they said two years ago when they got my two older siblings one that most likely everyone will get one when they reach college/college age, so it wasn't completely unexpected, I didn't assume though.

I also got a calligraphy set! Hopefully after some practice I can share with you all! It's really awesome!

    And...
    AHHHHHH!!!!

I saw Les Mis. I'm seeing it again in a few hours. I cried for the first time watching a movie. Everyone was perfect. No words. Please watch it so I can freak out to you.

Hope you all had a blessed Christmas, and enjoy the rest of break!

"Holy water fountain"? no disrespect but lol
This Christmas was not so much for me. 2 books, a winter driving training (I wanted that for a while now), a Poker Set thing, some small camera bits, almost no money :/ and a clothing item of my choice which I have yet to decide, but i think this would be cool http://cdn.yoox.biz/59/59131170MG_12_f.jpg

No disrespect to you vT but that jacket? lol :D
Cyril: A Macbook for christmas? Wow! I got a new watch, a nice bracelet, books and things for my new flat because I moved (stuff for the kitchen etc). Even though the watch was not cheap, I don't think it can hold up to what you two recieved ;)
As far as giving goes: Books.. books everywhere. My whole family got books from me (including the latest John Green for my sister), and I honestly want to read all of them after my family finished them :p

totally forgot the giving part xD
Well I got one of my photos printed on a large canvas for my aunt. My mom got a neat case for her new galsses. When I asked my dad if he had any whishes, he said he'd want me to be happy (so, naturally, I asked him for money)

@Baum, well I don't get the chance too often to buy something and my parents pay no matter what the price

@Sky Don't you dare say what you want to say >:D

Not a fountain like that. It's a little thing you hang by the door. You put holy water in it so you can cross yourself :)

Haha VT maan, that jacket... by it, I want to see it on you XD

Baum. John Green keeps coming up everywhere, it's so weird! I finished Looking for Alaska, I'm reading The Fault in Our Stars right now. Wonderful books. :)

wow i have never heard of John Green. And about the Jacket, it is not on sale anymore :/ I guess it is a sign that I should look for something more practical like a trenchcoat or sweater.

I wouldn't buy the jacket...but if you do get it, post pix! :D

I gave my mother a computer sleeve for the laptop she got last month.
Gave my dad one of those sun visor things with the fake spiky, highlighted hair on top.
Gave my grandmother candy (she loves candy)
Gave my brother a punch in the arm (and a few wrenches I got for cheaps at a thrift shop)

I got a phone :D You know, one of those smart phone thingies. I love it dearly.

    That was my Christmas give/get.

I think the jacket is kind of dope actually. Sure it' s pretty out of there and I' d probably not wear anything like that, but still sort of cool. It doesn' t seem to have any pockets though :!:

I wouldn't buy the Jacket for practical reaons or as a substitute for other jackets. Just if you go out and the dress code is semi-formal :)

vT..... that coat... :D You know what I think. Also, I...don't... ;)

Shyft--you and your new toy :D

Got an Amazon gift card and a copy of Canadian Architect featuring a building my cousin's firm worked on :) Gave my aunt a picture frame (she's into photography). Also I win, because my desktop build will be > Cyril's Macbook. Probably around the same price, too. But tbh I wouldn't have gotten it as a present from my parents if my laptop hadn't died on me. They're buying the parts though, and now I'm just missing SATA cables and an optical drive...

Now I don't have to have people rubbing it in my face that they have better computers (they're still doing it, dammit, those rich kids) and I'll be able to play AC2 sans lag (hopefully). I still have shit internet though :/

@Sky I am pretty sure your built will do anything you need it to do, but I probably won't stop rubbing "it" in your face :D

So Baum just explained to me how you guys read it. When i said "it" I wasn't referencing any reproductive organs, I was only saying that my pc is still better than hers. Sorry if some of your imature minds interpreted my wording as misleading.

    Sky
"my desktop build will be > Cyril's Macbook"

I would hope any modern-day desktop would have better specs than a modern-day laptop ;D
