In Blender Newbies Forum they have this feature of Marking threads/posts as Solved. Please see the link, http://forums.blendernewbies.com/viewto ... f=1&t=2359
But one thing I already like in gimp is that I know whether there are new posts/replies in a certain topic and need not to guess. 8)

I asked for permission for sharing this feature. The Site Admin agreed and said it was a common feature among forums. I think it will be useful for us Gimpers ;D

So the Administrator is the one who controls the settings for the site? Is there only one Admin or more? Last, what's the difference of Admin and Moderators? I don't know the difference of ranks yet (of users) or if it is only based on the number of posts. (Sorry I have a lot of questions lol) :wilber: whoa! a Wilber icon!

As for the feature, maybe there can also be a button or link to see unanswered questions/topics, of course, topics related about the Gimp software and of this forum. To be close to the hearts of new Gimpers, a friendly and heroic approach to their needs will surely help a lot! :wilber:

If you check out the rules I have the ranks listed on the bottom. Admin is the creator of the forum, they have access to all areas of the site and can change themes, create new forum categories and have control of all the forum options. Mods can only edit posts, warn and ban users, and edit all aspects of threads, like moving or deleting.
