So I got my Android 4.2 update some weeks ago, and so I can finally shoot 360° panoramas as well as photo spheres (streetview-like true 360° photos) now. I still haven't really played around a lot with it before, but I wanna show one that I quickly made: (click for a large view)

I know it has imperfections, blurs and wrong spots. I haven't really edited it well yet. Still, I really can't wait for spring/summer, when the weather finally gets good enough to shoot with a 5MP phone camera ;)
Any ideas of where to go and shoot some good photos? My lecture hall for example looks quite cool from the inside :D

Edit: Oh yea, extra points if you know where this was shot without ripping the GPS location from the photo data :D

The power lines overhead make a nice natural framing...
    Hamburg?

(if that's indeed Hamburg, the harbour would be a nice place for shots. Plenty of nice graphics things to do with boats, cranes, and piles of containers.

That is correct sir ;) Hamburg it is! Are you from around that area? Also, I already have plans on shooting at the harbour, but I think those will end in 180 shots instead of 360, just because the back doesn't look too interesting... I'm still trying to find a mountain off which I can shoot some good 360x360 Photospheres.

Never set foot in Hamburg.... just looked up Google for "Blutspendienst city" (as indicated on the building) and the only one is in Hamburg. Tried to narrow down the place a bit, but there are too many Rossmann stores, and "3 48 48-0" may not be an offering reference on realestate.bnpparibas.com. And since it's a pedestrian area the Google car hasn't taken picture it seems :)

    Nice thinking ofnuts :D
@vT there's already something like that built into my camera-app, those things look really cool! But your suggested way, applied to this particular photo looks really weird. I think you need a far-away-shot panorama instead of a close-up one like mine. The distortions are way smaller that way.

Cool pic! My hubby loves to play with his panoramic feature on his phone. I've yet to really do anything with it, though I did try a couple times while we were on our last cruise to the Bahamas.
