to find out just open GIMP, go to help.about, and it should tell you in the window that pops up.

Happy with what i got, and upgrading when 2.8 is out ;-)

    Btw if i remember right:
In 2.8 you have to use export instead of save to get *.jpg and *.png ?

yeah 2.7 is the same way, you can only save as in xcf
You use export to save as image format.
2.6.10 however is still the same as 2.6.8 =)

Is it just a problem in installation or in my computer?
In the Tool Options tab and the tool is Ink, the arrows in adjusting size, tilt and speed under sensitivity don't work. It is also the same with my portable Gimp..
The sliders and entering of values still works though.

Good to hear that. I'm just curious if others have a similar case.=D
By the way you have filters there which are unfamilar to me. Plug-ins are cool.

You can find many Executes, and filter scripts, ( Python and SCM here).
    http://registry.gimp.org/

However if you do a Google or similar search for GIMP plug-ins or filters, you can find many other surprises. =)
