Marguerite 2014-07-31

Marguerite is a delicate modular typeface inspired by the elegance of the daisy.

  1. Samantha Marino
The name Marguerite comes from the French term for 'days eye,' or daisy. The movement of the typeface is modeled after the simple, gentle curves seen in the daisy. The elegant modulars embody the delicate femininity of the flower, while also incorporating the strength and independence of a woman. The patterns created within the typeface were influenced by the simple repetitiveness created by the petals of a daisy.
